The weather looks like it’s going to be pretty good today. Fine spells with occasional showers. The weather temps are going to drop this week as we see a high pressure system stretched from north Queensland Australia all the way south to Antarctica. There is a low pressure system in the Tasman cranking out some 6-7m swells onto our west coast which is also funnelling all the cold Antarctic air onto NZ. Even Auckland is going to feel pretty fresh this coming week.

Saturday 27 June

Mangawhai was graced yesterday with crazy winds, super heavy downpours and the momentary touchdown of a #tornado in the back blocks of town. Today will be another crazy weather day. Look for the wind swinging from NW to NE which will bring some thunder and lightning.
