Happy Friday friends! Looks like we are going to have an on and off weather day today. Fingers crossed the weather will fine up for the weekend. One thing that is on the cards is the drop in temperature. I must say it has been mild lately, I got a nice glow yesterday as the sun dropped while skateboarding with the kids outside. Drops in temperature ain't all that bad, colder temps mean snow is on it's way soon!
The Sony walkman, it was that one piece of equipment in the 90’s that could instantly transport you from your current environment to a whole new environment with the press of a large, clickable and incredibly satisfying button. The weather today may inflict momentary emotions of depression which are easily fixed by listening to Dave Dobyns ’A Slice of Heaven’ or Dragons ’April sun in Cuba’.
Over COVID-19 lockdown I dusted off the the old Powell Peralta skateboard that was being used as a footstool underneath my desk and started re-aqaunting my 37 year old torn miniscus with the pain inducing kick push method again. I ended up skating every day in that first week before using my over confident dad skills to injure myself so bad that I was mouthing soundless swear words, while lying in the cul-de-sac outside my Whare. After a few months of injure, heal, injure, heal I am on the constant lookout for dry concrete so I can get out for a skate with the kids. Looks like this morning will be dry and shred-able. It's gonna flip on it's head later this arvo with strong wind and a bit of rain.
