Beautiful weather day here in Auckland today. It’s also #worldalbatrossday here in NZ. We have our very own albatross. They are the largest sea birds in the whole world and travel up to 140,000km per year and an average of 1000km per day. One albatross was tracked flying 13,000km over two days while foraging for food. They live in the sub Antarctic islands off the southern coast of NZ and live well into their 40’s. Happy Friday!!

Good morning team. I am a little late out of the gate this morning. Today's weather looks fun. The rain will be setting in around mid morning. Off of the west coast there is a massive 20mm getting dumped 3 hourly. That rain will make it's way to Auckland mid arvo. Could be some thunder and lightning and will clear early evening. Winds a touch strong coming from the NE today.

Good morning legends! Hope you are well. You will notice that the temps are relatively mild today as per normal for June. Most of NZ today is experiencing a 4-8 deg above average in temps. Tomorrow's forecast is showing a 4-8 deg below average with snow up to 0.5m and 100km winds through the middle of the south island. If you feel like going outside and making the most of it before the rain sets in then today is your day. Tonight we have a weak low-pressure system dumping a bunch of rain over Auckland for the next few days.
