Saturday 30 may

I awoke this morning, dragged my partially frozen body out of bed and did my daily zombie inspired limp, with one arm outstretched to flick the switch of the kettle to ’on’ so I could fill my caffeine deprived blood stream with the life enhancing elixir. On route to the kitchen I limped through the door of the hallway to the lounge and was embraced with the overwhelming atmospheric intensity of summer. Only to discover the heater had been left switched on at 27deg all night. The Auckland Festival of photography is on today at Aotea Square and Queens Wharf which inspired this ’out of control’ yet completely ’in control’ selfie illo. #awr #aucklandweatherreport #auckland #photography #nz #newzealand #kiwiana

Morning everyone. I’m currently watching the sun try and rise through a blanket of heavy grey clouds. It seems as though the sun has hit snooze for the seventh time and is about to miss the 8:15 northern express to Britomart.
